Hello everybody she does make it easier here and today I'll be showing you how to easily combine two scanned documents in preview on OS X now usually whenever you scan a document onto your system OSX will create separate files for each new scan which you can then save to the location of your choice now this can be an issue if you want to merge many scanned pages into one document for either sending to someone of a storage etc luckily OSX does support combining scanned pages into one document while its default built in image viewing PDF opening utility which is preview so before starting will be converting all our files into PDF format and then we'll merge them so to do this select all the files that you want to merge together in this case I'll be merging these four files together and right click open with preview so once that's open all your files will appear in this left-hand pane now have to select all of these you can either drag and select them with your mouse cursor or you can use a simple keyboard shortcut which is come on e now once you have all these selected right click export as and so a PDF I'll be saving this into a new folder PDF create and choose so what this essentially does it converts all these four files into PDF format which will appear in our PDF folder here so now what you're going to do is you're going to select all these four files again right click open with preview again all your four files will appear in the left-hand pane so first of all you need to select a master file which you want all the other files to work in this case my master file will be scanned twelve this will be a master file so dragged all the other documents now in this case there are three simply drag and drop on the Mossville and with that results a complete file with all the four pages merge together so now right click export as PDF merged file will save this directly on the desktop save close this and here's our merged file show that to you open up and all four but now this is opened up in Adobe Reader which I use many from PDF files but as you can see all the four pages have merged together so that's all now you have a single file with all your scanned documents in it we should like share subscribe to our channel for more use of videos like this we hope did help you if you have any comments square ease or questions don't hesitate to ask us in the comments below we'll be happy to answer any question that you have this is your family easier I hope you enjoy the video and we should like share and subscribe.
